Kristi Crosswell

Kristi was born and raised in New York. She has a B.A. in French, which she started while attending university in New York and completed at the famed Sorbonne University in Paris, France.

Kristi and her family moved to Hamilton, where she came to love life in a smaller city surrounded by nature. Drawing on her background, Kristi taught bilingual Montessori Casa (kindergarten) for 11 years in Ancaster.

As a teacher, Kristi values guiding children to discover the joys of learning and experiencing the wonders of the world all around them. Seeing life with childlike appreciation is one of her goals!

Kristi holds a MACTE-Accredited Elementary Montessori Diploma and has accumulated years of classroom experience. As one of our Outdoor Kindergarten Guides, Kristi helps incorporate the French language into the program. She knows through experience that kindergarten is a crucial period in a child’s development for a language explosion!

Outside of the classroom, Kristi enjoys walking on local trails and spending quality time with friends and family.
